Our Salons Favorite Spots in Portland

New to Portland? Here’s our salons list of favorite spots (according to our stylists):

For food, this list is always changing but here’s what we currently have on our salons side of the river that we think is worth checking out:

• Nostrana - can’t go wrong here

• Ken’s Artisan - their burrata pizza 

• Cafe olli - get the pomodoro + stracciatella pizza and see if it beats Ken’s Artisan

• Pie Spot - Their breakfast sandwich with the veggie pattie is unreal

• PDX Sliders - Just get everything here

• Gabbiano’s - Deep Fried Mozzarella

• Meat cheese bread - the breakfast burrito is a classic

• Cafe Rowan - It’s all so amazing, one of our favorite breakfast/brunch spots

• Ranch Pizza - Our go to lunch for the salon

• Jen’s Pastries - Open weekends only, but worth the line

Now for coffee, again the list can go on forever but here’s some spots near yello that we absolutely love:

• Keeper - their coffee, treats and atmosphere is amazing, their owner and staff are amazing

• Speedboat - Get their HVAC coffee iced (it’s not always on the menu but they know) also the bagel sandwich with sriracha is amazing

• Rose City Coffee - Big location and a great meeting spot where you can usually find a place to sit and work

• Pie Spot  - They made our salons list again because their coffee is also amazing

Okay last but not least, we do love going out for a drink every now and then:

• Bible Club or their outdoor patio called Revival - great Sellwood spot near the salon

• The Sports Bra - An all women's sports bar perfect for game days

• Deadshot - During Christmas time they are completely themed out and it’s amazing

• Holy Ghost - An amazing bar with great spirits

• Rontoms - This place is a classic start to a long night out, just get the grilled cheese and tomato soup with your cocktail

• Sandy Hut - A Portland staple dive bar

This list is always changing because we're lucky to be home to so many amazing restaurants, bars, coffee shops (and salons) here in Portland. We have small printed cards at the salon that we update for our stylists to hand out to clients who are new to Portland.
